Are you a qualified barber? 

Yes, I was trained at the UK’s leading Barber Academy and achieved the highest ‘Distinction’ grades possible, I also have my NVQ levels 2 & 3 in barbering. 

Do you use the same products/tools as regular barber shops? 

Yes, we use professional shop quality equipment from manufacturers such as Andis, Wahl and styling products from American Crew. 

How do I book an appointment? 

Please contact us via the options at the bottom of this page, we respond to all enquiries the same day 

Do you cut children’s hair? 

Absolutely, we know that for many children visiting the barbers can be a stressful experience so we are happy to cut children’s hair at home, with a reduced children’s price for under 9-year olds. 

What towns/areas do you cover? 

Currently we cover Stone, Staffordshire and the surrounding villages, we hope to expand to other towns such as Stafford/Stoke in the future. 

What do I need to provide for a home visit? 

All we require is a kitchen/dining room chair that is close to an electrical plug socket. 

Do you offer any discount? 

We offer 20% discount to all public service personnel, including Armed forces, Police, Ambulance, Fire service (ID proof required) 
 
 

What if I want to cancel/change an appointment? 

If you wish to cancel or amend an appointment please give us at least 24 hour notice and we will happily look to find you an alternative appointment time that works for you. 
 
If you do cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your original appointment we charge a £5 fee that will be added onto your haircut bill 

Do you send out reminders? 

Yes, we send text reminders on the morning of your appointment, these will be delivered by the same method you used to contact us , such as text message, Facebook message, Instagram message or email. 

Can you do group bookings for my family? 

Absolutely, we can offer group bookings, just let us know how many adults/children are to be included and we will allocate a longer appointment for you. 

Do you trim/ shave beards? 

Yes, we offer a service to trim/shape up beards, plus a full wet shave service with hot/ice towels, available in the Ginger Beard private salon. 

Do you offer early/late appointments? 

Our normal appointment hours are Mon – Sun 9am – 9pm  

Do you accept credit cards or cheques? 

We accept cash and all major Credit/Debit cards, we do not accept cheques at this time. 

Do you have your own salon? 

Yes, we have a private, single chair salon in Stone that we can use for haircuts and beard trims/shaves if a home visit is not possible. If you wish to use the salon please let us know when booking. 

What is the ‘clean & tidy’ guarantee? 

Once our barbers have finished, we tidy up and take away any leftover hair, leaving you with only a good haircut. 

What does DBS clearance check mean? 

A DBS clearance check is a police report detailing any past convictions, our DBS reports are totally clean, giving you extra peace of mind when letting us into your home. 

Can I create a regular booking? 

Absolutely, If you wish to have a regular booking each month please tell us and we’ll organise a repeat appointment schedule for you. 

Do you offer barbering services to businesses? 

Yes, we can visit your business or place of work anytime of the day to give your staff a haircut, we also offer block bookings for 2+ clients.
